As part of Government Strategy to develop centres of excellence for cancer treatment the National Plan for Radiation Oncology (NPRO) involved the construction of a new facility at Beaumont Hospital Dublin. The new building included the following features; 4 No Linear Accelerator Treatment Rooms, 2 CT Simulator Rooms, MRI Suite, Brachytherapy Treatment Room.
