In June 2012, SiBS completed commissioning works on this development. The project comprised over 100 individual bedroom units and isolation rooms located on the grounds of the existing hospital campus. Also included in the project was a 10-bed day treatment unit with en-suite sanitary facilities which are an essential part of approach to CF treatment to prevent cross infection. This 7 storey development is situated over a basement of 1000m2 which links the ward block to the existing hospital buildings.
